Either landing on the pitching deck of a aircraft carrier with your F/A-18 Super Hornet, taking off from the flight deck of a Destoyer in a SH-60 helicopter, or hunting submarines in a P-3 Orion over the Mediterranean! It's an everyday adventure.

Submarine Officer - This community consists of Nuclear qualified submarine officers. The United States Navy submarine force is the silent tool of strategic deterence. They swim silently through the depths of the seven seas, providing inteligence, assiting in counter narcotic ops, and many other important secret tasks that only stealth can provide.

Special Warfare (SEALS) - This community consists of the U.S. Navy SEALS. The SEALs are one of the best known special force units today. They are well respected by other elite forces, and are said to have the toughest training of all.

Nurses - This community consists of medical officers (doctors, dentists, etc). After completing four years of college with a medical degree, the NROTC nursing student is commissioned as an ensign in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. As an ensign there are four hospitals that the navy nurse is usually assigned to although exceptions can be made for certain situations. The stateside hospitals are located in California, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia. An ensign will spend on average, two years at a stateside hospital, and then they will have the opportunity of going overseas and practicing nursing anywhere in the world.
